MSPbots Dashboards has a function that allows clients to present multiple dashboards in a loop on a single screen. Called the Rotating Dashboard view, this function presents dashboards one after the other at specific intervals. When displayed on a screen, the rotating view is a way to present dashboards without human intervention. The presentation may can be stopped and resumed at any time at when the user 's click of clicks the Stop and Play buttonsbutton

Users can create a number of Rotating Dashboard rotating dashboard views, which are can be stored for future access or deleted when no longer needed. This article shows how to create rotating dashboards and present these in intervals.

All MSPbots users can create Rotating Dashboard views as long as they have access to the dashboards they want to present. 

To create and present dashboards using the Rotating Dashboard

  1. Log in to the MSPBots app and navigate to Dashboards
  2. Select a dashboard from the Dashboard List
  3. When the selected dashboard opens, click the Present icon on the right and select Rotate Dashboard

  4. On the Present Management screen that appears, click the Add New Present button to create a presentation. Image Removed

  5. The When the New Present window appears at this point. Type , type a name for your presentation on the Name field, then click the Add Dashboard button.

  6. When the Select Dashboard screen appears, select all the dashboards that you want to view in the rotating sequence and click Add

  7. Verify the list that you selected Your selected dashboards should appear in the Dashboard List section. Verify the list. Click the Delete icon if you need to remove a dashboard from the list. Click or click Add Dashboard to add more. Click Save once verified.

Options Available on the Present Management Screen

  • To Edit an existing Present Dashboard, click the pencil icon.
  • To Delete the existing Present Dashboard, click the bin icon.
  • To View the Present Dashboard, click the Eye icon on the selected present and a new tab will display the rotating dashboard display.

On the Present Dashboard screen, you can also: 

Select dashboards - You can manually choose a dashboard to show by clicking the dropdown icon and selecting a dashboard on the list. 

Modify the presentation intervals - The default interval between the dashboards is 3 minutes. You can change this setting by clicking on the time interval and selecting from the dropdown list. Your options are 3, 5, 10, and 15 minutes. 

Stop Rotation - The dashboards appear in rotation on the Present Dashboard View but you can pause the pause or stop the rotation by clicking the stop icon.

View the presentation in full screen - Click the expand/restore icon to maximize the presentation view.

  • On the Present Dashboard view page,
  • Option to manually select a dashboard is available by clicking the v icon and selecting any available dashboard in the dropdown list.
  • There is a time selectable interval of 3, 5, 10, 15 minutes
  • Option to pause to rotation is available by clicking the stop icon
  • Option to expand and maximize the screen view is available by clicking the expand/restore icon next to the stop icon.

  1. Once you have verified, click Save.

  2. Once saved, you will be back to the Present Management screen where you will find the rotating dashboards that you have created. To view your rotating dashboard, click the eye icon under Action.

To edit or delete a Rotating Dashboard

  1. Open any of your dashboards. Click the Present icon > Rotating Dashboards.
  2. Click the Edit icon to edit or the Delete icon to delete existing rotating dashboards.
