To connect Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 to MSPbots, you need to enable the REST service in Veeam Backup and then enter the parameter values required in the MSPbots integration setup.

  1. Log in to Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 application.
    1. Enter the server name or IP address and , port of the server, userNameusername, and password

    2. Click Connect. 
      Tip
      • When connecting MSPbots to the Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 integration, please enter the IP address of the server you used during application login in the IP address field of the Domain parameter.
      • Fill in the username and password you entered here in the UserName and Password fields.

    3. Click Connect.
  2. After successful login, click REST API.

    1. Take note of the IP address, username, and password you used for login. You will need these values later when connecting Veeam Backup for 365 to MSPbots. 


  3. Once logged in, click REST API in the Options window.

  4. Next, select the Enable REST service checkbox.

  5. Enter your preferred authentication duration in Configure the following parameters.
  6. Please tick Enable REST service.
  7. Customize the Authentication token lifetime (in minutes) according to your preference, it is recommended to set field. We recommend setting a longer duration.

  8. Enter Fill in the port value of the RESTful API in the HTTPS port field.

    Fill in the value of HTTPS port in the Domain field's port.

  9. Click Apply and OK.

  2. Open Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 and enter values Please fill in the following required fields and refer to "HowtoRetrieveParameterValues for the necessary values.fields:  
    • Domain
    • UserName
    • Password
