This article is for clients who want to remove the user accounts of individuals who are no longer with their company. It shows how to change a user's account status from Enabled to Disabled in User Management.

Note: This procedure can be performed by an admin only. Once disabled, the individuals assigned to the disabled accounts can no longer log in and use the MSPbots app.

When a user is removed from your AD account, it will be automatically synced in 10 minutes and disabled in MSPbots.

This process is only for you to use if you have someone is enabled in AD, but you need manually disable them in MSPbots.

To disable a user account in the MSPbots app:

  1. Log in to the MSPbots app as an administrator.
  2. Click Settings on the menu and select User Management.
    User Management

     3. On the User Management tab, locate the user account that needs to be disabled.

4. Click the Edit button.

5. On the Edit window, go to Status and select Disabled.

6. Click the Confirm button to save the changes.

7. On the User Management tab, check if the user is no longer on the list. This confirms that the user is already disabled.

Important: Disabling a user account does not delete the account from the database because the user's records may be associated with some historical data. Deactivating the user from the AAD will automatically disable a user from MSPbots User Management.
