This The Accounting Mapping feature allows users to display and map their chart of accounts in MSPBots then MSPbots, and use it to create widgets, bots, and dashboards. Only users with a Financial role can use this feature.
To access, users can go to Settings > Accounting Mapping.
This will take users to the Accounting Dashboard where they can do the following:
- Use the data from their the integrated Accounting Software (Xero, Quickbooks, etc.) and select a Financial Statement to map between Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
- Review all of their sub-accounts that are displayed on the left-hand side.
- Select a Mapping Template. Commonly used are SLI and Bering Mckinley McKinley, but users can also create new templates by clicking on "the Edit Mapping Templates" link on the upper right corner of the dashboard.
- Categorize sub-accounts by dragging them to the mapping template.
