Continuum Integration Setup

How to Integrate Continuum with MSPbots:

• Create the API key in Command
• Apply the API key to MSPbots
• Test the Connection 

To create the API key in Command:

1. Log in to your Command account.

2. Click the Admin link at the top of the page. 

3. Click the Integration tab then the Reporting API link. 

4. Generate the API key and take note of it. 

Important: If you have previously created a key, a masked key will be shown. See if you can find the old key and use it. Generating a new key will deactivate the old one and will cause issues with other apps that are using it. If you must regenerate the key, save the new one in a safe space and make sure to apply it to the other apps. 

To apply the API key to MSPbots:

1. On the MSPots dashboard, click Integrations.

2. Navigate to the Search function and search for "Continuum". 

3. Click the Config option and enter the API details to the API Key field.

4. Click Save and Sync.  

Test the connection to verify if the setup is successful.

The datasets and gauges are immediately added to your account and sync begins. The initial sync usually takes 20-30 minutes to complete.
