Why late time entries are a problem for MSPs

Late time entry happens when an employee finishes a job but didn't add the time entry right before finishing the task. When employees adding time entry too late, here are a couple of problems that could happen:

1. Employee waited too long, forgot about the detail of the time entry, affecting the accuracy of the time entry, like what happened, when it happened, and how long it took. Since some of the very important KPIs like utilization and agreement profitability are heavily rely on an accurate time entry, the accuracy of those KPIs will be affected too.
2. If the clients or other employees need to figure out what happened to certain tickets, and the employee who did the job didn't put time entry at the time, it will create trouble for the clients and other employees to understand what happened and what needs to be done next. 

How bad is your MSP doing in the late time entries?

Before you head over to the reports, please change the following settings here:

1. CW Late time Entry Setting (mspbots.ai)
   1. Select the users that should be excluded from the late time entry report, they will not be showing up in the late time entry report.

You can find out via these two reports:

1. ConnectWise Late Time Entry Analysis (mspbots.ai)
   1. This report is an analysis of the overall late time entry for the company
2. ConnectWise Per User Late Time Entry Analysis Report (mspbots.ai)
   1. This report is a detailed analysis of late time issues per employee basis
