A Microsoft security feature prevents MSPbots from automatically sending messages to Teams channels. Authorizing MSPbots to have access to a channel and initiating a conversation will resolve this issue.
To set MSPbots to send a message to a channel:
- On the Microsoft Teams menu, navigate to Teams.
- Click on the ellipsis button and select Manage Team.
- Go to Apps > More Apps.
- Search for MSPbots on the list of apps that appears.
- Select Add to a teamfrom the dropdown list.
- Click the Set up a bot button on the window that appears.
- Initiate a conversation by sending a message to @mspbots.
