1. On the MSPbots menu, navigate to Widgets.
2. On the Widgets tab, click New Widget.
   
3. Choose the Grid widget type on the New Widget window.
   
4. When the Widget Builder window opens, go to  Basic Setting. Provide the following and click Apply.
   • Name - Give the widget a Name.
   • Description - Provide a short Description.
   • Role - Select User or Admin.
     
5. Go to Dataset . Click the + button and add a New Layer.
6. Do the following on the Dataset window:
   1. Select a dataset to use.
   2. Add columns by selecting the needed column names an option from the Column Name dropdown list and assigning an Alias and Business Type for each. Click the button to add more rows.  
   3. Add filters, measures, and dimensions.
      Refer to What Conditions are Available for Creating Widgets? for as a guide on choosing conditionsfor this step.
      
7. Click Save. This will show a preview of the simple grid table that you created.
8. Click Apply.
