Filters are use used to help narrow down the tickets that you wanted want your technician/users technicians to work on. You can define the filter conditions using the dropdown menu and exclude the tickets that you don't want the technicians to see. Only user with Admin rights can set up A filter is configured by defining the conditions using PSA fields (ex: Board IN Help Desk, Status NOT IN Closed). Only Admin users can create and modify filters.

How to Create /Add a Filter in NextTicket Manager?

You may can create or add a new filter by doing the following:

  1. In NextTicket ManagerOn the main dashboard, click on the filter 2nd dropdown then click the "Add New Filter".  
  2. In A Filter Settings window should pop up where you can:

    1. Input a Filter Name
    2. Select Service Board or Queue where you wanted to pull your tickets. You may select multiple item depends on the operator you selected.
    3. You may add condition or group by clicking Add conditions using the available PSA fields and operators to define the ticket pool. Common filters used are Service Boards/Queue, Ticket Status, and Closed Flag. (Use the "+" button .If field is not available in the list, please submit a request to support team to ask to add it.add a condition/group)
    4. You may click the "Preview" button to check the tickets being pulled by the set filter settings. (A user should be selected on the main dashboard for the preview button to work)
    5. Once satisfied with the filter setting, click on "Save" button.       Image Removed Image Removed.

How to Edit a Filter in NextTicket Manager?

You can edit an existing filter in the app by doing the following:

  1. On the main dashboardIn NextTicket Manager, click on the filter 2nd dropdown list.
  2. Click the pen icon along to the filter name you want to edit.
  3. In On the Filter Settings window, update the settings then save. Image Removedname or conditions.
  4. Click "Save" to save the changes made.


How to Copy a Filter in NextTicket Manager?

You can copy/clone an existing filter in the app by doing the following:

  1. In On the NextTicket Managermain dashboard, click on the filter 2nd dropdown list.
  2. Click the copy icon along the filter name you want to edit.
  3. After clicking the icon, it will create a A copy of the selected filter in should be added to the dropdown list. Image Removed


How to Delete a Filter in NextTicket Manager?

You can delete a filter in the app by doing the following:

  1. In On the NextTicket Managermain dashboard, click on the filter 2nd dropdown list.
  2. Click the trash icon along the filter name you wan want to delete, then click OK .  Image Removedto confirm.
  3. The screen should refresh and the filter will be removed from the dropdown list.
