How to Set Up the SQL Agent Integration with MSPbots

1. Log in to MSPbots. Go to Integrations then search for SQL Agent.

2. Open SQL Agent and click on the Download link to download the MSPbots SQL Agent Client file

3. Open SQL Server Management.
4. Download the Microsoft SQL Server Agent configuration file from Integrations

   to the SQL Server Management computer.

5. Execute MSPbots SQL Agent.exe as an administrator.

6. Go back to the MSPbots app. Copy the Secret string and Data Server strings from the Microsoft SQL Server Agent page to the Secret location in the configuration file and save it.

7. Complete the installation by clicking Next on the Setup window.

8. Next, run the MSPbots MS-SQL Server Agent as an administrator. 

9. Return to the MSPbots app and click the + Add Connector button.

10. Expand the drop-down options for SQL Server // and enter the following:
    1. IP 
    2. Database Name
    3. User ID 
    4. Password

    On the MSPbots app, expand the testcase section and configure the database information. 
    1. Indicate the IP address of the server where the SQL server is located. 
    2. Provide the Database Name. 
    3. Enter the User ID of the one database login account.
    4. Enter the one database login Password.

11. Click Save And Sync.

12. On the MSPbots app

    On the SQL Server Agent server, open the downloaded configuration file. Find the AgentService program and run it.

    , go to Datasets. Choose a dataset and click the

    New button to create a dataset

    ellipsis ... > Edit. 

13. Configure the fields to be queried in Database Source and the table name in the SQL Server to be queried:
    1. Use select username and password from sys_user for the SQL field.
    2. Select the Database Name configured on the Integration section (Refer to step 5) and indicate the Sync Frequency (calculated in minutes).

14. Click Update and save the Dataset.

16. When the Edit window appears, find the Data Cleaning tab, click it, and select SQL as Refresh Type.

17. Click the add icon and set the configurations for the SQL agent.

18. Click Save to start data sync with MSPbots. At this point, the SQL Agent configuration is completed, and the data will be pulled into the tenant_agent_data table according to the set synchronization time.
